Curls behave differently from straight hair. Every curl has its own shape and falls in its own way, and curly hair is naturally drier. If curls are cut wet and stretched, they often spring up unexpectedly or fall unevenly once dry.
That is why a good curly hair specialist cuts the hair dry, in its natural shape. That way you can see exactly how each curl falls, creating a balanced cut with volume in the right places and curls that really stand out.
For anyone with wavy, curly or coily hair who:
The secret behind the beautiful curls you see in Brazil is often the cronograma capilar: a fixed care schedule that alternates between hydrating, nourishing and repairing.
Hydrating gives your curls moisture and bounce. Nourishing with oils and butters protects against dryness and frizz. Repairing with proteins strengthens curls weakened by heat or colour.
We look at which step your curls need most right now and create a schedule together that you can follow at home.
Want to give your curls an intensive boost? Combine your appointment with our Brazilian hair ritual.

After your appointment you have a cut that suits your curls, with more definition, shine and bounce. Because you learn how to style your curls yourself, you keep that result at home too.
Use gentle, sulphate-free products, dry your curls with a microfibre towel or cotton T-shirt instead of a terry towel, and sleep on a silk pillowcase. Come back every few months to keep your curls in shape. Prefer smoother hair without frizz? Read about hair botox, which repairs without taking away your curl.
Why are curls cut dry?
Wet hair is longer and straighter than dry curly hair. If you cut curls wet, you cannot know exactly how they will fall once dry. By cutting dry, we see each curl in its natural shape and create a balanced cut without surprises.
How often should I have my curls cut?
For most people with curls, every 3 to 4 months is a good rhythm. If you want to keep a specific shape or have short curly hair, a little more often may be nicer. We are happy to advise you during your appointment.
What is the cronograma capilar?
The cronograma capilar is a Brazilian care schedule in which you alternate hydrating, nourishing and repairing, depending on what your hair needs at that moment. It helps keep curls supple, glossy and strong.
How can I reduce frizz in my curls?
Frizz is often caused by dryness and friction. Plenty of moisture, nourishing products, gentle drying and a silk pillowcase already make a big difference. During your appointment we show you which routine works for your curls.
How much does a curl treatment cost?
The price depends on your hair length and whether you want just a cut or a care treatment as well. Send us a photo of your curls via WhatsApp and you will receive a personal price estimate.
